“Recorded and assembled between March and May 2023 for Radiophrenia Festival. I received this commission on the 14th of March 2023, which also marked my grandmother Lea's 99th birthday. She passed away on May 4. Nearly all of the sounds for this piece were captured on these two dates, either in and around the nursing home where she spent her final days or created using her personal belongings. After her passing, I added vocals, tapes, instruments, and electronics at home to complete the piece.
